Pepsi

Dell finally developed an elegant laptop meant to compete with Apple and Microsoft. And they wanted to let the world know that every aspect of it had been thoughtfully designed and considered. So to launch it, we decided to literally show – and celebrate – every single piece. The result was a spot that showed how every little thing in this machine was, indeed, everything. And we proved that when you focus on the details, what you get is something even greater than all its parts. We also created a campaign of :15’s that focused on one individual feature of the machine at a time. Set to an exciting track of music that fit perfectly with our campaign.

PEPSI

While at BBDO, I was fortunate enough to work on Pepsi. They’re a big, international client who make pretty exciting things. Below are a few of the projects I helped bring to life.

EMPIRE + Pepsi Product integration

Product integration is nothing new. But when OMD scored a partnership with Empire - one of the biggest shows of 2015 -- we wanted to create something different. So we worked with the actual writers of the show not just to incorporate our product -- but to actually make it an integral part of the plot line. Something that had never been done before. Then we hired Oscar-winning director Lee Daniels to shoot the actual spot. When the commercial aired, it felt like an additional 60 seconds of the show itself. This idea went on to receive a lion in Cannes, a gold Effie, as well as numerous other industry awards.

Pepsi emoji cans global launch

When Pepsi decided to put emojis on their cans (as an answer to Coke’s “names”) I was tasked with creating a global campaign for the launch. Of course, when you want to talk to the whole world, you want to use as few words as possible. Luckily, the cans themselves provided us with a universal language. So we created a series of charming, relatable, global online films that made the cans an overnight sensation.

OSCArs beyoncé commercial

This was my first ever shoot with a celebrity. And really, where do you go after you shoot with Beyoncé? She's as cool and as friendly as you’d imagine. I think the spot turned out really well, too.

Just making sure Beyonce holds the Pepsi can properly based on brand guidelines.
